Clip 11: Collaboration
Delwynne:
So we buddied up our ISTEs so that – like yesterday I accompanied Nyree to a school to observe Nyree observing a teacher. And the sheer fact that both of us had a shared experience gave us a deeper interaction, because we weren’t assuming things. We’d seen the same scenario, but we could look at it different ways, because of our personalities and our knowledge.
And to my mind, the collaboration and the buddying up has shifted us wider, to think wider about implications of our own work. And, yeah, yesterday was a classic example. So what Nyree saw and I saw, and after we discussed and debated what the differences were and the similarities were, we were able to make it that much clearer for the teacher at the end of the day.
