The nicest thing of all is that the model that we’ve been setting in the school is that we don’t have all the answers, but we are quite prepared to put ourselves out there and learn our way forward. And one of the students said, “So Mrs Stevenson, that’s way cool,” she said, “so you get paid for learning.”

I was like, “That’s exactly right! We are not on the earth and we know everything. We know it because we are prepared to get out there and learn too. And teachers need to be learners as much as students need to be teachers.”
