Clip 7: Dissonance
Nyree:
Sometimes you come away feeling ⦠maybe a little bit āhollowā, I would say the word is, say. But when you create dissonance, people canāt be grateful, or perhaps they canāt even be nice at the time, because they need to go away and process what it means for them, and so itās not always a smooth road. But you need to keep going back to see what changes there are in place. I mean people come to you and they say, āYou know, Iāve thought really hard about what you said. And as a result, this happenedā, or āIāve done thisā. Then you know that that discomfort or that dissonance was worth it.
