Certainly it really reinforced the importance of using, or the relevance of using, video for reflection. There were so many aspects when I looked at that video that actually allowed me to think about my practice as a critical friend.

To reinforce the importance of people finding solutions to their own problems, that I don’t have to do that for them, and that’s not what I want to do for them.

Also to establish the critical friend roles for each of us, so that we ensure that we know what we’re doing, and how we are doing that together to work collaboratively for improvement.

I also found that I was compromising my beliefs. And this was something I modelled in the workshop and I didn’t ... I want to make sure that I actually carry out my beliefs in my practice. That’s some of Julia Atkin’s work that I firmly believe, is, works and works well. So I need to make sure I do that.
