E tika ana te kōrero, “He tomokanga paepae he ara ki te ao tūroa,” nā Pāpā Blackie i tū tērā atu pō. Nānā ēnei kōrero i homai hei āwhina, hei ārahi i a mātou i roto i ngā mahi a INSTEP. Ahakoa kaitakawaenga, RT:M, RT:LB kei te hāngai wērā kōrero ki a mātou, ki a tātou katoa i roto i wēnei tūmomo mahi. Nō reira, he mihi ki a tātou katoa, tātou i mahi i ngā mahi a INSTEP kia tutuki, kia ea ai i runga i ngā piki me ngā heke, ā, he mihi, he mihi, kia ora koutou katoa. |
The expression that Pāpā Blackie used the other night is appropriate – “He tomokanga paepae he ara ki te aotūroa” [“Crossing a threshold that leads to a path to the future“, or, alternatively, “With each opening door comes another opportunity”]. He shared this thought with us to help and guide us in our work with INSTEP. Regardless of whether we are an adviser, an RT:M, or an RT:LB, those words are relevant to us all and the work we do. Therefore, thanks to everyone involved in INSTEP for what has been achieved and accomplished through the highs and the lows. Many thanks to you all. |
